After wrapping up my short film, Journey Into Dusk (check it out in my previous post), I had nothing to do until my next due date so I ended up deciding to work on some ads.
Last week, as the Co-President of Ladue's Comic Book Club, I helped organize a showing of the blockbuster hit, The Avengers, in preparation for the highly anticipated sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron, which releases this Friday, April 30. I used my best "epic trailer voice" to give the details and attempt to convince students to show up. The paper cutout characters seen in the ad were a lot of fun to make, if not a bit exhausting for all of the details I put in them. We ended up with a good turnout of over 30 people.

I then focused my efforts on creating an ad for Battle of the Barrels, a food drive happening at Ladue High from the 22nd to the 29th of April, after a friend asked for assistance with creating an ad. I had a great time working with the actors and had some fun with editing.
